The Met Gala is back, and the stars are blossoming this year.
A cadre of stylish celebrities have descended on the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the museum's annual benefit. This year's gala theme is "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," which refers to fragile garments in the Met's collection housed in special glass "coffins" instead of on mannequins.
Garments will be displayed in a series of galleries organized by themes of nature, including land, sea and sky. The event's dress code, "The Garden of Time," draws inspiration from this elemental motif.
And these A-list attendees are no withering wallflowers.
Stars are serving a full bounty of striking floral prints and earthy tones that would make Mother Nature want to strut down the red carpet.
From Zendaya and Bad Bunny to Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna, here are our picks for best dressed of the night (in no particular order).

The "Challengers" actress turned heads on the red carpet in a haunting, off-the-shoulder dress by Maison Margiela that combined ocean blue and forest green tones. The earthy frock, which took inspiration from a '90s Dior dress, also featured a feathery headpiece and berry bundles pinned to the ensemble.
